Our rental cottages are near the Town of South River, in the beautiful Almaquin Highlands Ontario, Canada. Located between Huntsville and North Bay, South River is just a two and one-half hour drive from Toronto.
When you arrive at the cottages, we guarantee that you will quickly forget about the outside world. First you will travel deep within the bush just to reach us. Then you will discover there are no other cottagers on your side of the lake. It's the perfect getaway.
The essence of this remarkable retreat is its seclusion. Quiet streams, moose pastures, and wildlife habitats are tucked away inside 200 acres of evergreens, red maples, and snow white birch trees, all surrounded by thousand's of acres of Canadian Crown Land.
Fabulous Spring Lake sports three miles of non-congested, sparkling clean water. Also known as "Fowke Lake", Spring Lake is a designated trout-sanctuary. Fish away your days while coasting along in one of our water craft. Canoe, motor and paddle boat rentals are available.
