Description: Plateau Lake is 10 miles east of the Town of Atikokan, Ontario. 3 miles north of Quetico Wilderness Park.
This 72 acre (patented, freehold, fee simple) property is surrounded by thousands of acres of Crown (Government) Land. It has never been cut and is fully treed with predominately mature white spruce, aspen, and birch which are owned. There are no neighbors. It is very private.
The lake is spring fed and it's size is about 4 miles long by 4 miles wide with many islands and bays. There is over 20 miles of shoreline. Smallmouth Bass fishing is fantastic and there are some walleyes. There are Moose and Deer trails (and beds) all over the property. Every native species of animal and bird lives on, or frequents this land.
The property is within 1 mile of Highway 11 and a permit to construct a road has been applied for. There is a walking trail into the property and there is also vehicle access to a boat landing at the north end of the lake.
There are a number of excellent building sites on well over 1000 feet of shoreline. All with beautiful views. It is the largest lakeshore property in the area.
