Description:
Vacant Recreation Property.
Dog Lake is about 60 miles NE of Wawa, Ontario.
It's area is over 14,000 acres of clear, clean water with many bays and islands and over 100 miles of shoreline.
This remote property is at the south end of Dog Lake close to where Dog Lake flows into Manitowik Lake (84° 13' 30.83" W, 48° 13' 52.40" N)
The land faces south, and consists of 1.6+ acres of very private deeded land and is completely surrounded by Crown Land. There are no neighbours.
It was surveyed last fall and is beautifully treed with pines, birch, aspen and cedar and it backs to the prevailing winds. Perfect for mooring an airplane.
There is an all-season, maintained road to the village of Missanabie at the north end of Dog Lake but the property is boat, snowmobile, and float/ski plane accessible.
The wild game in this area is unsurpassed due to the Chapleau Game Preserve, the largest in the western hemisphere, adjacent to Dog Lake.
Enjoy all of the outdoor sports in all four seasons right from your cabin.
Fishing is excellent for Lake Trout, Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch, Smallmouth Bass and Whitefish. Speckled Trout are in the rivers. Hunting is also excellent for Moose, Deer, Bear, Wolf, Small Game and Duck.
This area provides the best boating, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice-fishing, showshoeing, hiking, canoeing, birdwatching, or kayaking.
There are awesome rapids just a half mile by water from the property and you can access a number of other lakes right from the shore of Dog Lake.
Ride miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the winter or you can make your own while you explore unlimited new country/
